Sorry, I thought the title would be appropriate today. The long weekend is coming to a close, but not without one glorious paid vacation day. I’m trying to make the best of it by being as lazy as possible; a theme I have stuck with since Friday afternoon. The result is I’m looking a bit more tanned and feeling a bit less stressed out – the taste of frozen strawberry daiquiris still fresh in my memory. As the afternoon begins to wear on I’m feeling a bit restless, however.

I’m definitely going to be putzing around here doing this and that. Most if it will be barely noticable: I’ll mostly be reacquainting myself with the plugin API primarily. I should also note that I’m making good use of the theme system that the new version of WordPress offers. This theme in particular I thought was fairly in-tune with my own stylistic tastes. But in time I’ll be putting a theme of my own creation up. I won’t even begin to try and hint at when that might be; everyone should know by now how fickle I am when it comes to that sort of thing.

It does feel good to get up on the soapbox once again.
